Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) method and its using a tool on the muscles to break down scar tissue and muscle adhesions and stimulate new oxygenated blood flow. Facial Gua Sha is more light than the body Gua Sha because it is to promote lymphatic drainage but both body and face Gua Sha massage is highly beneficial for different reasons. This full body massage will be customized based on what your body needs and I will use my Rose Quarts Gua Sha stone on two parts (or more depending on the duration of the session) of the body where there is the most tension, combined with regular Swedish massage. This massage will be deep pressure in order to reduce knots in small and bigger muscles formed from overuse. Gua sha can also be used on the face with light pressure and face massage. A 50 minute Gua Sha massage is $145 and an 80 minute is $190, a 25 minute Gua Sha Facial is $50.00 and is finished with a Lymphatic Drainage face massage. You may notice some slight redness in the areas of the body Gua Sha is used and feel sore as with any kind of deep pressure massage.
